Contacting your Spirit Guide

Spirit Guide Communication is a blessing. Contacting your Spirit Guide is possible for all of us regardless of whether we are aware of it or not.
Everyone has at least 2-3 spirit guides, each with a particular function and influence. Some of our spirit guides are with us throughout this incarnation from birth, others are present during specific periods of our lives. Spirit Guides also vary according to the spiritual practices that the person is involved with.
There are several different lines of Spirit Guides. The Clergy Spirit Guides are Spirit Guides that offer their blessing and spiritual protection, they also imprint in us the devotion and desire to get to know our Higher Power, the Native American or Indian line of Spirit Guides will usually clear our energy and protect our spiritual journey, the Congo or African line of Spirit Guides clear our energy, specially through the removal of any negativity or interference, Gypsy Spirit Guides open our path and assist us in the development of our intuition, Doctor Spirit Guides work with us in healings. Many Spirit Guides regardless of their line may have a particular specialty or concentration such as mystical teachings, healing and clearing techniques, or protection.
Depending on our most developed sense we may perceive the Spirit Guides in different ways. Many of the people that come in for Spirit Guide Channelings are in the process of developing their abilities and are just opening up to the Spiritual Guidance around us. Those who aredeveloping their intuition may have a thought or an insight just at the right time that corrects their course or that guides them in the right direction. Those who are clairsentient will have a tendency to feel the Spirit Guide’s tone or energy as the Spirit Guide is close, for example, if the Clergy Spirit Guide is near someone who is clairsentient this may result in being taken over with emotion, gratitude and devotion for God. Those who are more clairvoyant may have visions or may see the presence of the Spirit Guide near them. Those with clairaudience may hear in their minds a name or a phrase.
When we are interested in contacting our Spirit Guides and having Spirit Guide Communication the first step is to protect our energy from unwanted interference. Anytime we open up to receive from the Spirit World we are exposed to many different types of energies and beings, therefore it must always be our first step to protect ourselves with God’s Tube of Light. To do this we visualize a protecting Tube of Light that originates from the Creator and surrounds our entire body as it forms a cylinder around us.
